13. Sunny-side Up

Artist:
Anne Kelly, Mary Beth McGinnis, Jenni Tymkovich
Artist Statement:
Sunny-side Up is a collaged landscape of our eggceptional and iconic Door County environment. The egg was basted together by scrambling layers of cyanotypes or sun prints on canvas created in and around Egg Harbor.
Local, well-loved spots chosen for site specific prints include the Kress Pavillion, Horse Shoe Bay Farms, Waseda Farms, Woodwalk Gallery, plus several beaches and orchards. The result is a waterproof and archival montage, pieced together with friendship.

About the Artist
Anne Kelly, Mary Beth McGinnis, Jenni Tymkovich
Anne Kelly is a fine art printmaker, active in the Chicago Loop and in Door County where she is represented by Woodwalk Gallery. Her monoprints and cyanotypes (sun prints) often experiment with color and overlapping layers. The surrounding landscape of her home is a primary influence as she responds to place. Anne’s work has been exhibited in several juried shows in Door County and in the Chicago area during the last twelve years and will be featured in a solo show at the Fine Arts Building Gallery opening May 2025. In 2014 Anne was invited to collage an egg using upcycled materials, "Last One In" for the EGGstravaganza in Egg Harbor and celebrated the whimsy of that fundraising community event. www.annekellyprints.com/ @annekellyprints
